I began career at Cumnor Hill House as carer, advancing to senior carer and dementia lead within 18 months.

Promoted to hospitality manager in 2020, managing a team of 4.

Oversaw food and drink services for all residents to ensure high standards.

Recognised as Berkley Care Outstanding Team Member of the Year in 2023.

• Processing all goods and products that come into the warehouse and booking in daily deliveries. The main daily tasks include sorting and checking for damaged or missing goods; moving stock around the warehouse and department store and ensure that all paperwork is up to date. Adhoc assisting customers on the sales floor and the coffee shop when required.

• In charge of a team of nine people in the kitchen, responsible for making sure the kitchen runs smoothly on a daily basis as well as cooking the food. Weekly stocktaking, taking delivering and placing daily food orders.

• Supervising the staff, taking deliveries, organising the staff rota every week, performing weekly stock takes, dealing with customer concerns, making sure we traded with the highest standards of hygiene and were complying with health and safety regulations, as well as relief work. I trained and completed my license to be a publican.

• A varied role including bar work, customer service, table service plus night and day entertainment.

• Supervising all members of staff, organising the staff rota and staff wages, dealing with all the customer bookings and ensuring the front of house was to the highest standards, complying with health and safety regulations, at all times.

• Organising the staff rota every week, performing weekly stock takes, dealing with customer concerns and training new staff to a high standard.
