I began working in Marks and Spencer's after my GCSE studies to support myself, I initially worked full-time hours before committing to a part time role due to my further studies.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND SKILLS
- I have always provided a first-class service for all, and ensured the highest satisfaction for every individual customer.
- Consistently trusted to complete tasks of a manager's level due to my reputation as a hard worker alongside their trust in me to complete tasks correctly.
- Dealt professionally and delicately with customer complaints and issues with proactive problem-solving skills.
- Furthered my communication skills and boosted my confidence by dealing with a large variety of individuals from the general public.
- Maintained excellent levels of work during my studies in college and university with neither being a detriment, highlighting my time management and the standard I hold myself to.
I became a temporary member of staff at Radyr Primary School as part of my placement in Cardiff Met.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND SKILLS
- Completed safeguarding training to understand the importance of the role and my duties.
- Worked closely with children with Additional Learning Needs, providing support to children in the age range of 3-5.
- Communicated with children clearly explaining the days tasks and helped them have the best day they could, I ensured with support from the other staff that the day went smoothly.
- Worked one-to-one with a non-verbal child supporting them through the use of sheet with associative pictures to aid them in communicating.
- Great commitment to my role offering my availability whenever I had time that was not allocated to study. I am flexible and able to balance multiple fronts at once, but never to the detriment of my studies.
