I work in a vascular ward. Where most the patients are amputees. The care is very hands on. My responsibilities are helping patients wash, in and out of bed, to the bathroom, dealing with death, cleaning duties. Using equipments such as hoists and commodes. Bed making, organising. And most importantly being there for the patients. It is a really difficult but a rewarding role.
While working for SSE, OVO bought the department I was working on over. I worked in a department called “partnership services”. My main responsibilities were mostly dealing with councils. We dealt with councils tenanted homes. They would send in forms via emails. We would then move tenants out or out properties. Updated meter readings so they are billed properly. Wiping smart meters and clearing debt. Also dealing with a lot of homeless properties.
I have really good call centre experience working for SSE. I worked in many departments. Most of my time working for SSE was working in home services working on the front line. Dealing with customer queries, complaints, boiler break downs, booking/re arranging appointments. Ordering parts when parts are needed. As well as working on the front phone lines I’ve done other departments such as dialling out to customers. So that will be using a different dialling out system. Also working in the boiler installation department, reading from scrips to make sure I am being compliant. I have also done non customer roles on SSE. Organising and scheduling engineers diaries and work schedules.
My main responsibility was on the help desk. Dealing with customer queries, tills, refunds, exchanges, training new staff. Online orders and complaints. As well as the help desk, I filled shelf’s, stock take. Opening and closing of the shop.
I have really great people skills I am a very friendly, approachable person I am always on time and very organised I am mostly experienced in call centre/admin work Currently i work in care which gives me more face to face customer contact experience I am very flexible, have a full drivers licence
