Accomplishments

  • Supporting my service user to identify his ADHD/Autism needs, make the appropriate referral for assessments and support him to get the tailored psychological interventions for his Autism, EUPD and trauma diagnosis.
  • Successfully completed a pilot placement within a learning disability school, finding new innovative ways in which all first year nursing students can meet proficiencies and gain the necessary experience.
  • I worked with a pregnant service user with severe learning needs. I helped and supported her to improve her health, hygiene, coping skills and overall wellbeing so that she now lives independently with her child.
  • I worked with a mother suffering domestic violence and was struggling to cope with her three children who all had individual needs. I worked individually with the family, referring them to other professionals as appropriate, improving their lives dramatically.
