While I was a member of student voice at my school, I volunteered at a Christmas dinner event open to any elderly members of the public. During which I helped in organisation and food servicing , ensuring everyone felt included and listened to. This specific scenario put me outside of my comfort zone and was a chance for me to hone my communicative skills and overall team-working aspect. This will translate well into customer-facing scenarios where I need to tailor it to their specific needs and therefore be able to give personalised service to people with different life experiences.
