⁃ Supporting and guiding pupils with autism, difficult behaviour and low ability within year one classroom. Also providing general support throughout classroom.
⁃ One to one attention to child with autism in the morning, assisting in literacy, numeracy and all other subjects. Encouraging independence whilst giving support when needed.
⁃ Providing extra support in phonics using 5 min phonic box, aiding with sounds, speech and writing of letters.
⁃ One to one support in afternoons with child with severe autism and speech delay. Planned and organised learning activities following EYES. Helping improve social development, speech and overall interaction.
⁃ Produced accurate and up to date records and reports of child performance and improvement in key areas.
⁃ Assisted SEN pupils at lunch hours, encouraging eating and play.
⁃ Organised and maintained books, leaming materials and resources.
⁃ Assisted with preparation of pupils work, e.g. gluing sticking in working for upcoming days, marking work, setting out work for the next morning etc.
⁃ Assisted class teacher and teaching assistances in areas that were required.
