I undertook work experience for The Spirit of Alfreton news page, where I have had several articles published under my name.

Through this experience, I actively:

• Sourced local stories and follow-up ideas
• Worked towards deadlines
• Contacted and arranged interviews
• Wrote and formatted my writing to an industry-standard
• Interacted with our readership on our social media pages
• Transcribed recorded interviews promptly, contributing to swift article production.
• Collaborated closely with editors to refine story angles and drafts.

• In the several years I have worked for M&S, I have learned to adapt to the business needs whilst also having a well-rounded knowledge of all departments to aid in customer interaction
• This position has also taught me accountability for my training, and I am encouraged to improve myself often. I am currently trained to a supervisor level.
• I am multi-skilled within the business and have worked across all departments where needed; this required me to be knowledgeable and adaptable where possible
• I Worked on the customer service desk, where I learned to tactfully deal with customer queries and quickly try to solve their problems and offer advice
• I also dealt with the delivery of stock and worked within a tight time frame to meet targets and get the stock on the shop floor for the customer
• I am also a qualified bra-fitter, where I offer personalised and empathetic experiences to a variety of clientele on a one-to-one basis
• I undertook my First-Aid training in 2022 and am a first-aider for my store
