Whilst at The Chapel i established a successful guest list which i worked hard to achieve. I enjoyed welcoming guests to the salon, listening attentively to their ideas and working together with them to understand what they are trying to achieve with their hair.

I managed my time effectively to ensure minimal waiting times for my guests and contributed towards keeping the salon clean and tidy.

I enjoyed being part of the team and sharing creative ideas to enhance my work and help others improve theirs.

I attended training sessions in Horsham and Tunbridge wells and also went to Redken training days in London to broaden my colour knowledge.

I also helped with front of house before we had a host which included taking bills and booking appointments.

During my time at CoCo's i ran a full column offering cuts, colours and styling and also assisted with training younger/less experienced stylists, i qualified as an assessor to help team members complete their training in a salon setting as i have always prided myself on my hairdressing knowledge.

I would also help new stylists create an efficient hairdressing column to optimize their salon performance.

I had a really good product sales percentage which was down to my passion for haircare products to help my guest achieve salon hair at home.

At CoCo's i would often cash up, open up and close for the day(as i was a key holder) and manage the salon when the manager wasn't in the salon.

At Strand's i worked as an apprentice and went to Crawley College to gain my NVQ 2. I spent a lot of time assisting Stylists and observing different hair cutting, colouring and styling techniques which i would then practise in my training time.

At Strand's is where i learned front of house skills, stock taking and maintaining high levels of cleanliness also the importance of creating a welcoming salon environment for guests.
