As the Workshop Supervisor / HGV Technician, I play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring the efficient and effective management of vehicle servicing and repairs.

I am responsible for leading a team of technicians, monitoring their work progress, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. I have excellent leadership skills, technical expertise in commercial vehicle maintenance, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Oversee the workflow in the workshop, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance work.
• Ensure that all repair and servicing work is carried out to the highest standards, in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work, addressing any deficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of job progress, ensuring documentation is completed promptly and accurately.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of parts and materials, placing orders as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Depot Manager to allocate resources effectively and maximize workshop productivity.
• Uphold health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
