• Prepares and explains procedure to patient and provides education on various contraindications and safety questionnaires associated with MR examination. Performs routine examinations (brain, spine, extremities, abdomen, pelvis) and special examinations (MR Whole Body Diffusion, Multiparametric Prostate MR, MR Angiography).
• Secure IV access and administers contrast agent to patients undergoing contrast enhanced examinations.
• Performs image post-processing on all acquired images and correctly saves data in PACS system.
• Running quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
• Supporting patient bookings and making sure patient information systems are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Performing triage functions of referrals, as required

Responsibilities:

MRI (Siemens 1.5T):

• Performs routine examinations (brain, spine, extremities, abdomen, pelvis), special examinations (MR Whole Body Diffusion, Multiparametric Prostate MR, MR Angiography) and Cardiac MR
• Performs image post-processing on all acquired images and correctly saves data in PACS.
• Addressed problems requiring analysis or interpretation using direct observation, knowledge and skills.

CT (Siemens 64 Slice):

• Performs routine examinations (brain, spine, extremities, abdomen, pelvis) and special procedures including angiography examinations (brain, carotid, pulmonary, coronary and calcium scoring, peripheral, aortic and abdominal angiography).
• Assists in interventional procedures including CT guided spinal nerve block, CT guided biopsies and Microwave Thermal Ablation.
• Supervision of interns and student radiographers on how to ensure radiation protection by using protective apparels.

Catheterization Laboratory/Fluoroscopy (Siemens Artis Zee)

• Assisting scrub nurse to set up a sterile field prior to starting examination. Some Examination like Transarterial Chemoembolization, Uterine Fibroid Embolization and Cardiac Catheterization.
• Prepare patient for procedure by positioning patient, adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors for either Barium Studies, HSG, MCUG or Intravenous Pyelogram.
