Accomplishments

· Participated as a tutor for a Punjabi class at a local Gurdwara, I offered to teach groups of children the Punjabi language. These classes took place during weekends. This gave me the opportunity to grow as a person and take on new responsibilities. Within these classes I allocated homework and exams to track the children progress.

· I opened a Punjabi society in my university, and I was chosen to take on the role of the president. This society ran for one academic year. This gave me the opportunity to bring together the Punjabi community within the university and teach other people about my culture. It also made it possible to create an environment where people could come together and help each other. The society organised weekly events such as game nights, discussion night, movie nights and much more.
