At Piranha comics I did many different things. The company has both two stores and an online eBay shop. I was also trained on how effectively talk to customers and take orders over the phone. For the eBay shop I would during my shift check and amend the prices of the products as well as add new products onto the website. In the Store my other duties were to serve any customers who came in both regulars who were in to pick up their weekly lot of single issue comics and new customers who were looking to buy something.

We stocked collectable figures alongside Manga, Graphic Novels and Comics. Part of this job was summarising what a specific comic was about to the customer or if they were looking for something vague to go off of what they were explaining and to find it or something similar to it. We also took orders for graphic novel, figures and Manga.

At the Bricklayers Arms I was taught how to properly pour pints of Beers and Ales along this simple cocktails such as Rum and Coke, Gin and tonic, and Vodka Lemonade. I was also shown how to change the barrel and how to fully cash up. Along with all of that when I was closing I also cleaned all the surfaces of the pub.

I worked at Waitrose for about 3 years. When I started at Waitrose it was as a cashier. Throughout the duration of my time there I became trained in more areas. On the shop floor I learnt how to Stock and Rotate the shelves and reduce any products that were close to their sell by dates.

Once I turned 18 they then trained me in how to use the manager controls for the Self-Checkouts (SCO) and how to serve customers on the Lottery and Cigarettes counter. They also trained me in the online shopping area (E-COM) where I picked the shopping lists that I was given for the food delivery. At the end of the night when I worked to closing I would help with the cashing up and bring it up to the cash office once the shop was closed.
