I am a very hard working individual with a drive to be very competitive, ambitious and a willingness to succeed in my future career. My honesty and integrity is paramount and I have fulfilled a sales role with Safe Style UK. I'm a very approachable person who has the ability to succeed within VPK and progress and extended my knowledge further. I set myself high, achievable targets which I incorporate into my work.

  • I became an Operational Team Leader in July 2023, this is the next stage of my career which I'm a leader of a team of 12 , using all the knowledge of the business I have gained over the years I have to control my team to work towards daily, weekly and yearly KPI's whilst all following SSW and all maintaining the standard operation procedure to reduce chances of accidents and injuries
  • Quality control and high performance are our high priority as keeping customers happy is key, so I have a high attention to details when planning work for the team to make deadlines and making sure all customers products are all to spec
  • Fire marshal trained
  • Efficiency is key to hit KPI's, so using my wide knowledge of the machines in my area, I can help my team fault find and solving issues that they come across on daily operations as any downtimes will affect production.

  • I have worked at ‘VPK' formally known as Rigid Containers since October 2016, in this time have started from a stacker and over the years I have learnt to operate multiple cardboard case makers
  • I enjoy this job very much as there is always room for progression and improvement, in the last few years I have operated a state of the art case maker (Mitsubishi EVOL)
  • I am very competitive and always aim to beat my production targets everyday whilst keeping extremely high standards as I take pride in my work.

  • I worked full time at Mama Mia Pizzeria in Selby, during the time I cooked, cleaned, took phone orders, sorted all deliveries and pay each driver their wages and mileage
  • I dealt with customers on the phone and face to face in the shop
  • Each day I worked I had the responsibility of cashing up and to prepare the float for the next day.

  • During this time I worked for Safe Style UK I worked long and unsociable hours
  • This never fazed me as I put my 100% commitment into this sales role
  • I did my training for a few weeks then was left to sell their products
  • As a commitment I had to buy my kit which was over five hundred pounds
  • I had to travel extensively as they had no representative in the North Yorkshire region
  • My sales manager was very impressed with my sales and gave me further incentives to drive me forward.
