My job involves:

Performing daily key operations inspections to ensure the crane is safe and in good working order.

Safely operating a mobile crane to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment on construction and industrial sites.

• Site Operations: Drive and travel with the crane to various job sites and adapt to different site conditions.
• Paperwork: Complete necessary job-specific paperwork, such as risk assessments and lift plans.
• Setup: Configure and set up the crane according to manufacturers instructions and job requirements.
• Safety: Adhere strictly to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Lifting Plans: Interpret and follow lifting plans, risk assessments, and technical drawings to execute lifts accurately.

As a steel crane operator, I lift, shift and fit steel beams and panels in the construction of buildings.

My duties involve:-

• Daily crane checks, including walk around.
• Setting crane up for the days lifts.
• Communicating with ground personnel via hand signals and radios, following safety protocols and lift plans.
• Continuously Monitoring crane stability, load weights, and environmental factors like wind speed to ensure safe operation.

Working for various Agency clients.

My duties involved:-

• Daily vehicle checks.
• Route planning.
• Assisting with loading and unloading safely.
• Securing loads.
• Maintaining accurate tachos and correct daily and weekly rest periods.
• Completing delivery notes.

The job required communication and customer service skills and the occasional overnight stays.

Delivering foam for the packaging and furniture industries all over the UK.

Duties involved:-
