I was diagnosed with severe anxiety at 8 years old. I was left unable to leave my home in 2023; it shaped me as a person and taught me resilience like no other. I may not have the qualifications nor the experience you are looking for, but for the past 3 years I have tried my hardest to get as many qualifications as I could whilst being at home. It didn't matter how badly my day had gone; I still got up every weekday and eventually, I finished my courses. It's unclear what qualifications I do have because of how my SQA certificate is laid out. But there is a full page with a wide range of subjects. I was able to prove to people that I am not defined by my agoraphobia and whilst I am working extremely hard to overcome the disorder, I still have a long way to go. Getting selected for this job allows me the chance to prove myself to others as well as keep having a life after school. I want you to know that I am capable and passionate about working despite my lack of experience. I was in GirlGuiding for 9 years and although it was not my choice to leave (due to my mental health), I got the chance to communicate with those as young as 5 (when I volunteered for an hour and a half every Friday with the Rainbows) to teens and tweens (the Guides or Brownies I'd often run sessions for) to as old as 80 or 90 (Grandparents and leaders). I hope you will consider me because despite everything I have been through in my life, I know now more than ever what hardships others face too and it has made me a very patient person when it comes to dealing with others' outbursts. I am a motivated, bubbly person and I would not apply for a job if I would not be happy to work for the company for the rest of my life.
