  • Developed engaging lesson plans tailored to different skill levels for students. As part of this, I have adapted lessons for a range of people, including those with mental and physical disabilities (such as epilepsy, ADHD, autism and dyslexia), this shows how I am adaptable, resourceful and focused on getting everyone engaged.
  • Instructed individuals and groups in swimming techniques ensuring safety and enjoyment. I have then built positive relationships with the pupils, and with doing so have implemented a secure swimming environment for all participants by ensuring all safety protocols are met. This shows how I am disciplined, safe and able to collaborate and work with others.
  • Monitored student progress and provided constructive feedback to enhance skills. Following this I have collaborated with parents to share pupil progress and assisted training new staff on teaching methods. This shows how I am keen on developing within a role if I enjoy it, have strong communication skills and am respected in companies I have worked for.

Apart of my role, I developed educational materials that promoted awareness of Egyptian culture and history, showing how I am aware of multiple demographics and can work around their needs.

  • As part of this position I have assisted in daily operations- such as sorting, pricing and organizing donations. This shows how I am flexible, keen on helping those less fortunate than me and have a wide range of skills I can use in a multitude of jobs and tasks.
  • I have engaged with customers and fellow members of the Barnardo's (from multiple stores across Swansea, earning me a reward for Best Volunteer in the company). This shows how I can motivate and inspire others, and bosses admire the work I do.
