Water safety is a key development skill to be involved within a swimming lesson
I currently teach from babies up to adults, teaching adult techniques can be challenging due to mobility or years of fear, however the joy when they can finally overcome fear or learn to swim is amazing for both swimmer and myself
It is important to be sensitive to individual needs and to make sure my lessons are inclusive for all learners
I hold a NRASTC light qualification and attend regular training
