  • Worked in a rotation style across the 3 main Planning teams in Fife council.
  • 1st Team was 'Gateway', assessing initial planning applications, Working well with a joint team deadline with individual responsibilities as well. Understanding Permitted Development Rights and creating a department wide marking criteria to assess initial Planning applications making sure they had be submitted correctly and with everything that was required.
  • 2nd Team was the Development management Team, Assessing applications and making final decisions, working on Predominantly small scale housing and community developments. Working Closely with agents and applicants to work to the best solution for the proposed development as well the the environment surrounding the developments.
  • 3rd Team (Current) Policy and Place team, Working Closely with The team Focusing on site assessment for the new local development plan. Working predominantly on the the Green & Blue networks with a strong focus on the Biodiversity impact of a site.
