In my final year of studying for my A Levels, I acquired a position with AROQUA LTD, an engineering company. I started off in the office where I was doing general office tasks, and eventually worked my way up to operations manager. As well as office work, I would travel to the embassies in London to submit and collect visa's for the sixty engineers I was managing. It was fast paced, tight deadlines to meet, organisation was imperative for a smooth running process between me having to organise the engineers travel and accommodation, plus then needing to fill out the correct paperwork for the visa's and making sure everything was done correctly before travelling to London. If any mistakes were made it would mean costing the company thousands, so there was a lot of pressure.
