Kassidy Jorjah Bentley

As a waitress assistant at Strada Cafe, I supported the front-of-house team in delivering excellent customer service during busy hours at the restaurant. My duties were to take and serve food and drink orders, clean and reset tables, washing dishes, and make sure that the restaurant was maintained to high standards and clean throughout the service. I worked closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that the orders were delivered exceptionally so that the customers had a positive dining experience. For example, communicating with the kitchen staff about food allergies or changes that needed to be made to the dishes.

Working at Krazy Kids in Heckmondwike has helped me understand and build my customer service and team work skills. It has allowed me to work in a family based environment. By doing this, it has allowed me to understand health and safety rules and I was able to follow them. I was also able to welcome the families and create a pleasant atmosphere for them. During this job, I have cleaned, I was cash handling whilst being on tills and and serving customers making sure they were happy with their order and service.
