• Built and led high-performing, multi-disciplinary finance teams across planning and forecasting, cost control, accounting, treasury, and tax, supporting capital-intensive assets through financial close, construction, and transition into operations.
• Played a central leadership role in the £4.3bn financial close of the Inch Cape offshore wind project, partnering with shareholders, lenders, and advisers to deliver an agreed and executable financing structure and on-time first utilisation.
• Demonstrated strong commercial judgement within a tightly constrained pre-financial close funding envelope, driving frequent re-forecasting, scenario analysis, and cost challenge to keep the project fully funded without additional shareholder capital.
• Led or contributed to international upstream oil & gas finance operations across 12+ jurisdictions, covering the full asset lifecycle and including the acquisition and integration of Egypt and UK North Sea assets; recognised with the Cairn Value Added Award.
• Gained direct Board, Audit & Risk Committee, and Steering Committee exposure through the Shadow for Success Programme, contributing to enterprise-level decision-making during periods of strategic change.
