Summary

I am currently working in a GP Practice where i have extensive experience of dealing with the public, I carry out Healthcare checks (height, weight, BMI, lifestyle) New patient checks (lifestyle questions, family history, medication) Phlebotomy and ECG's independently. I book patient appointments either face to face or via the telephone and also update patient notes, I am not adverse to change and embrace any new challenge given to me. I am punctual, calm, reliable, and a very dedicated person towards my work.

I have very good organisational and interpersonal skills and am highly motivated. I can work both well on my own and as part of a team, if I am unsure of anything i will always ask to avoid making mistakes. I can work well under pressure and work hard to meet any deadlines given to me. I have a good eye for fine detail and am familiar with most medical terminology. I have both good verbal and written skills and understand the importance of patient confidentiality. I am able to follow rules and procedures and can be very flexible and adaptable within the workplace.

I am used to taking on a high volume of tasks and have a very professional approach to work and to my colleagues. I have a vast amount of experience working for the NHS and like to make sure my work is both accurate and completed on time for whatever role I am doing. I have extensive knowledge in the bespoke online systems which I am currently using platforms called Emis and Ice. I also have previous experience with the OASIS patient administration system and sunrise. I can accurately input patient information onto the computer, book appointments, answer a high volume of calls, send out reports and communicate with all levels of the organisation.

I am of smart appearance and am easy to get along with and have a polite manner. I can maintain good housekeeping within the work place and am trusted to take on additional duties. All of my mandatory training is up to date. I can comply with the data protection act.
