I currently work in a very busy practice which has over 16k patients where i work within a team of a variety of healthcare professionals .I feel i have valuable communication skills which are provided to patients either through face to face appointments or through telephone consultations, plus these skills are essential for working within the primary health care team .I'm familiar with using Emis web, Docman and ice.

I manage pts with Asthma and COPD. Alongside this I do cytology ,pill and HRT checks. Child and adult immunisation. I was involved in the Covid immunisations programme with the SMASH PCN at Middleditch, plus vaccinated the housebound. I undertake diabetic ,vascular and rheumatoid Arthritis annual reviews educating pts on diet/lifestyle and disease prevention .My other skills are venepuncture, wound care ecgs, depot injections and NHS health checks.

Staff nurse working within a district nursing team. Managing pts with surgical wounds and chronic wound management .Provide compression bandage treatment for pts with leg ulcers, Delivering high quality researched based care.
