I recently finished my A-levels in Sociology, Business and Philosophy and Ethics. I Am eager to start building my career in a role where I can learn and contribute at the same time. While I may not have formal work experience in an office, I've developed skills like organisation, teamwork, and problem-solving through my studies, volunteer work and personal projects. I'm known for being reliable and proactive, skills which I've developed through teaching classical guitar for the past 3 years and I'm excited about the opportunity to apply these qualities in a professional setting. I'm enthusiastic about growing within a role and making a meaningful contribution to the team.
As a charity shop volunteer, I helped sort and price donations, kept the shop organised, and assisted customers with their purchases. I contributed to the smooth running of daily operations while supporting the shop’s mission and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Problem-Solving and Continuous Learning
I enjoy learning new skills and applying them creatively to build meaningful results
Creativity and Technical Skills
Music production and classical guitar have taught me to balance creativity with precision, much like in IT roles requiring technical and imaginative skills
Teamwork and People Skills
Through my 3 years of teaching classical guitar I've developed patience and strong communication and networking abilities I enjoy helping and learning from others to allow myself to expand my knowledge bases
Systems Analysis and Adaptability:
I’m intrigued by how systems work and how they can be optimized, a skill I’ve honed through TryHackMe courses and exploring digital forensics
I’m passionate about IT because it combines constant learning with creative problem-solving, which I find really rewarding. This ties closely to my love for guitar and music production, as both require a mix of technical skills and creativity. Whether I’m exploring cybersecurity through TryHackMe courses or composing and producing music, I enjoy the challenge of building something meaningful and finding innovative solutions. For me, both IT and music are about growth, precision, and expressing ideas in unique ways, which keeps me motivated and excited to learn more and as I've recently begun recording these two areas have begun to overlap and helped me find and learn things i didn't even know i needed for either subject.
