Summary

I have just graduated from university, receiving my BA in Illustration where I was able to improve my skills and have just completed the first draft of my book. Over the past couple of years, I have been cycling and exercising in any way I can, while still working on my long-term goals, that being becoming a full-time writer. In order to increase my skill in this area, I have also been taking a more vested interest in the publishing industry, getting a greater sense of the utility and value of these facilities. Another way I am making myself more well-rounded, I am looking for jobs that are outside of my comfort zone, so I can supplement my current skills with others and improve my teamwork and individual competence. For example, I learned much about working as a labourer from work experience with my dad, plumbing and so I am open and can be skilled at more physical work. Playing the guitar and reading voraciously are some of my hobbies alongside my writing and drawing practice.

While focusing on my future career, I have worked in with jobs such as waiting in a pub, and I have been a part of my local theatre for around twelve years. I am goal-oriented teaching assistant at Code Camp and I am caring with students of different learning levels and backgrounds. Always ready to step in and positively impact student learning or teacher wellbeing with timely support. Reliable in maintaining orderly spaces and preparing daily materials.
