Hardworking student skilled in problem-solving and troubleshooting seeks opportunity in gas engineering to build on maintenance abilities. Works with focus and drive to achieve accurate, safe results within strict deadlines.
looking for an opportunity to complete my gas portfolio with a company exposed to Nat Gas appliances.
I have serviced and identified faults on 100’s of LPG boilers, in addition have carried out full installs of the same.
Worked alongside a gas engineer to complete my gas portfolio.
As this position was in a rural area that predominantly used LPG it became apparent that I would not be able to complete the portfolio with enough natural gas jobs.
Having worked on my own for a few years offering gardening and tree work I found that I felt too isolated and need to be working in a team with others.
Working for my father I achieved many basic qualifications and carried out a huge variety of work ranging from;
Taking thickness readings on commercials vessels and piers.
Concrete work on piers
Fabrication work on piers and vessels
General maintenance of both.
Whilst I did enjoy this work my father and I had a very difficult work relationship and to protect the familial relationship we decided I would be better going my own way.
