Summary

Highly disciplined and technically capable Royal Marines Commando with over five years’ experience across multiple specialist units, including 30 Commando Communications Squadron, 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group, and 45 Commando Fighting Company. Proven track record in operating in extreme environments, maintaining technical equipment, and adhering to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Completed Commando training at CTCRM in 2018, where I also gained my Category C+E (HGV Class 1) licence, demonstrating early trust and capability in handling high-value equipment and logistics tasks. Later achieved ADR certification, allowing for the safe transport of hazardous materials — a responsibility requiring precision, risk awareness, and compliance with strict regulations.

In 45 Commando, I served in a fighting company and completed Arctic Warfare Training in Norway, developing elite cold-weather survival. while also completing a Recce operators course working with ropes, and working-at-height capabilities all directly relevant to the physical and safety demands of a Blade Technician role.

At 30 Commando, I specialised as a Combat Communicator, operating and maintaining advanced military communications systems in demanding field conditions developing strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and equipment care skills.

At 43 Commando, I provided armed protection for the UK’s nuclear deterrent, combining high-pressure decision-making with teamwork and strict adherence to safety and security protocols. I also served within the Motor Transport Troop, supporting military logistics and fleet operations.

Physically fit, adaptable, and calm under pressure, I bring a wide range of transferable skills including technical competency, health and safety awareness, team coordination, risk assessment, and working cool under pressure. Now actively seeking to transition into the renewable energy sector as a Blade Technician, where I can apply my military experience and qualifications in a new technical and safety-critical environment.
