Over my two years working at McDonald's, I have gained a wide range of valuable skills that have supported my personal and professional growth. I learned how to manage my time in a fast paced environment while meeting high standards of cleanliness, accuracy and customer service. Taking orders and preparing food taught me attention to detail and responsibility, since small mistakes can have a broad affect on customer satisfaction. I have also improved my teamwork skills by coordinating with co-workers during busy shifts and supporting each other.

Whilst working as an apprentice, I assisted with ripping out and renovating bathrooms including installing new walls using joinery techniques. I have also supported plastering processes and the fitting of new bathroom appliances and aided building custom media walls in customers home. All of this has lead me to gain experience in using a variety of tools and working in real job-site environments
