I initially did a week in march gaining valuable experience on CNC machines in manufacturing, CMM machines in quality and fitting in assembly.

June to September - 3 month summer placement in quality and health and safety.

• Attentive and proactive in meetings, taking in a lot of knowledge and distributing out to the shop floor.
• Carried out multiple monthly checks around the factory. Showed great responsibility in highlighting any issues with the checks and documenting any hazards on the internal system IFS.
• Assisted in conducting and documenting risk assessment.
• Highlighted and documented a factory layout with all necessary information required ( fire extinguishers, fire exits, spill kits and more).
• Ultrasonic testing carried out to ensure PTFE pads had bonded correctly and highlighting any areas of failure of bonding.
• Strictly adhering to any guidelines and ensuring the workforce were following.
