In this role I'm working towards becoming a fully qualified electrician and gaining my level 3 electrical installation qualification (5357) as well as my AM2. This is commercial work rather than domestic.

My work includes;

- Reviewed wiring and circuit diagrams to determine sequences and methods of operation

- Interpreted engineering blueprints for safe, accurate electrical installations

- Carried out reactive maintenance and repairs in time-critical environments

- Tested wiring and other system parts to determine electrical flow and function

- Maintained clean, neat and organised work areas

- Gathered parts supplies and tools in preparation for each workday or new job

- Identified electrical faults quickly, enabling prompt repair

- Installed electric switches and sockets

- Installed, examined and repaired electrical wiring systems in different settings

This work included;

- Pot wash

- Washing and peeling vegetables to be used in dishes

- Followed good operating practices, safety standards and equipment maintenance protocols to minimise downtime

- Assisting the chefs with the cooking in a high speed environment whilst ensuring all the food was up to standard and prepared professionally

- unloading large deliveries whilst also keeping on top of prep work and washing

- Rotated stock to keep ingredients fresh

- Measured, weighed and mixed ingredients following recipe formulae and procedures

- monitoring storage temperature controls ensuring all ingredients are kept fresh

This role massively helped me to develop my team working abilities and my communication, without this the restaurant wouldn't have been able to function properly. It also helped me to develop my customer interaction to ensure all guests were satisfied and happy with their service.

During my time at this job it was my role to ensure all the shelves were stacked correctly and neatly to ensure the aesthetics of the store for all of the customers.

In this position I worked as part of a team testing applications and video games ensuring that all applications were functioning correctly. To do this I had to effectively communicate with the clients to ensure all bugs and errors were amended thus developing my communication abilities.
