Lakesmere is an industry leading roofing, cladding & facade specialist and building envelope international contractor. I had been working with them for 10 years on various jobs starting as an apprentice roofer to now an assistant site supervisor.

Chilcomb Centre Winchester

As an assistant site supervisor i organised trained operatives to ensure work was being completed on time and withing budget. Other responsibilities include:

• Monitored multiple databases to keep track of all company inventory.
• Drawings were issued to operatives and understood.
• Daily work check to assure standards were being kept and works were still within deadline dates.
• Researched and updated all required materials needed for firm and partners.

London Bridge Train Station

London Bridge Station was ran by Network Rail which are the main London train station developers, who have strict health and safety guideline, that as an assistant site supervisor i had to ensure all employees who were working for Lakesmere were working within these guidelines at all times. Main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring health and safety guidelines were understood and were upheld by all employees.
• Risk assessments were completed and information given was used to ensure all works were safe for employees.
• Assured Works were being completed within the schedule and budget to achieve great customer satisfaction and profits.
• Machine checks were being completed and machinery certificate was up to date.
• Lakesmere deliveries were delivered with the time slot given and that the delivery notes were supplied and correct.
• Weekly meetings with the site manager to give progress reports.

Canary Wharf Crossrail Station

Canary Wharf Crossrail Station was ran by Crossrail as part of the Crossrail project.

Lakesmeres works consisted of a two part build. The first part was to build the louvres and the stainless steel perimeter in a warehouse in Durham. The second part was to deliver them to site and crane them into place.

As the leader of the small group workers sent to Durham to build these cassettes i had to ensure works were completed on time and to a high standard, to keep to the delivery schedules so they can arrive on site on time. Main responsibilities includes:

• Keeping to the strict deadlines and the high standards of works required.
• All warehouse Health and Safely were maintained within our work force
• Daily communication was kept with the site manager at Canary Wharf for updates and work progress
• Working with the warehouse management to provide a work area and material storage.
• Check all deliveries to make sure the correct and the right quantity for materials were being delivered.
• Ensured safe storage of completed cassettes and protection for transport

Reading Train Station

Reading train station was ran by Network Rail who have a strict Health and Safety guidelines the we had to adhere to. I was a roofer and cladder for Lakesmere on the job, who installed the roof of the train station and the blue internal and external cladding.

• Adhered to all Health and Safety guidelines.
• Set up storage yards for protection and safe keeping of our materials.
• Kept to the deadlines set and ensured worked progressed smoothly and without delay.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

Worked as a roofer and cladder for Lakesmere installing kalzip sheets on the roof and side wall of the hospital, as well as the internal cladding of the hospital

• Maintained a high level of Health and Safely
• Achieved high level of customer satisfaction on completed works to secure future jobs.
