I currently work for Eakin healthcare as a level 3 production operator making ostomy care products for global patients.

  • Operating multiple machines, including hydrocolloid line conversion line, shearline and pv500 tube filler.
  • Supporting team efforts to maintain high quality standards for patient safety.
  • Identified production issues to reduce downtime and resolve issues with maintenance team within a tight time scale.
  • Collaborate with departments for smooth production processes such as research and development trials, quality insurance tests and working with the process engineers to improve production quality and quantity.

From September to December i was trainee advanced operator at the denpro site,

  • My role was to maintain stock at each gen machine to keep the machine running i used work instructions and measuring tools to check specifications of finished items.
  • Supervised and adjusted machinery to minimise downtime.
  • Monitored and tracked warehouse inventory and ordered new materials to prevent shortages.
  • Loaded, unloaded and transported heavy materials to designated warehouse locations.
  • Performed equipment tests, calibrations and repairs to keep machines running smoothly and prevent malfunctions.

In December I passed my interview for the role and started the job coming back from the new year in January from here our shift was moved to another section where we were needed. finishing in denman.

  • Here i learnt how to maintain our bristling machines change settings, jobs and parts such as the anvil and drivers.
  • I was also in charge of assuring jobs where kitted with the right materials and work instructions for the operators to complete there jobs.
  • I recorded reports detailing machine production outputs and material quantities and completed product.
  • I performed quality assurance tasks to promote accuracy and minimise mistakes by doing hourly checks on operators work.
  • I assisted with equipment startups and machine installation tasks. to learn more about the machine and how to spot specific problems
  • I also provided on-the-job training to newly hired workers and team members to bring them up to the same company standard.
  • I assured that staff where PPE compliant with ear protection and safety glasses and masks during the pandemic.
  • While the supervisor is on leave i would look after the shift of 30 plus staff preforming WIP moves on tensor while insuring to still complete my own tasks.

  • My first six months in denroy i worked in the denpro department making FFP3 mask for the nhs during the covid pandemic, while here i used bench top ultrasonic welders to attach frames and to seal the product, i was taught how to adjust weld temperatures, pressure off the horn and how to change parts when necessary.
  • i also was trained on the printers to maintain them and change the ink, clean the plates and adjust the settings all within a maintained time to keep production moving.
  • After 2 months we had the new next gen machines which consisted of six welders in one machine, 3 operators ran one machine at stations that did different jobs to make a completed mask,
  • As i was already multi-skilled i was trained on quality to QA the masks before they went out to the customer assuring that no mistakes where made and tracking any loss to the company by completing necessary documents.

Retail Store Manager

  • I mostly worked on my own and i am self motivated to push my sales and beat my targets each week. On average my store was getting 35 to 45 donations per day, this was a hands on job as I had to sort through the donations clean and price them before selling to the public.
  • I thrived on pressure and always over came challenges from heavy donations of up to 60 bags/boxes a day to beating high targets on a quiet week.
  • I Used product knowledge, sales abilities and customer relations skills to drive substantial sales increases in donated and new goods products.
  • I handle the shops cash handling procedures with end of week papers, totals and banking, using this I progressed in the work environment from finding what sold best and pushing that product more.
  • I work well within a team I have one store associate who is part time and covers my days off and 10 volunteers. I make weekly rotas to accommodate the volunteers and the shops sales.
  • I organised requirement days with local schools and gave speeches in front of assemblies to highlight the great career opportunity and importance of the charity.
  • I received full up to date training on equality, diversity and also safe guarding and training to help support people with disabilities. i would also fill out all necessary forms for my weekly health and safety to assure the store was up to standards at all times. i have completed the current data protection policy.
  • Over the space of my time with barnardos i raised slightly below 300k within my shop over the space of 3 years which then went on to support local children and disadvantage people within the community.

  • At this job I organised appointments for the public with outbound calls and sent reminder letters for blood donations,
  • While using data protection procedures i updated personal records.
  • I advised donors if they were able to donate blood due to health reasons or precautions with expert advice,
  • I would also resolve customer queries by using the correct protocol.
  • I wanted to self progress within the company so i studied while working on my essential skills, through this course i got my english and maths qualifications and also a NVQ in customer service. with this i then applied for my job with barnardos.

Sales Assistant Part Time

  • I started on the checkouts at Tesco and stayed here for 6 months i couldn't bare sitting in the one spot so i always did overtime in other departments, through this i was able to apply for a position to move to the meat department with a increase in hours but not full time.
  • I had to learn product knowledge for merchandising, through this i planned organised point of sale. i fostered relationships with customers to expand customer base and enhance loyalty and retention.
  • I worked within a team to maximise sales and to assure that stock was always out and fresh. we would support each other and maintain a fair work load.
  • I followed health and safety protocol by learning to date check products, check temperatures and knowing that a product can't be left out longer than 15 minutes, i also had training to be able identify damaged or off products in case a fridge had broken down.
  • Tesco was ran on a clocking in system through this learnt to be punctual and always on time, as i was self motivated and wanted to progress i started a managers program within Tesco.
  • Through this i learnt more about health and safety, customer service and a managers role within a team, unfortunatly once i finished the program there were no available jobs in the area so i then moved to teleperformance for a full time role.
