My accomplishments as a Network Engineer show my extensive experience developing and maintaining robust network systems. Proactive and focused to identify faults and devise efficient solutions. Implements evolving hardware technologies to maintain optimal function and performance across diverse business systems.

I spent 4 years at the University of the highlands and Islands where I was an enthusiastic and self-driven student who pays attention to detail when given a task big or small.

My set of skills work well within a team setting or independently. I have always had a genuine interest in engineering work whether in mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines. I am looking for a role that offers the opportunity to build upon my pre-existing skills and will allow me to experience what tasks and challenges engineers face daily. I am seeking an opportunity to expand my skills, knowledge, and experience in this role. Since the completion of my bachelor’s Electrical and Electronic engineering BEng(Hons) I am keen to learn through practical completion of tasks as well as through academic learning.

Within my current role at Openreach, I was chosen by my manager to be the first to spearhead a new team undertaking an emerging type of work called complex tasks, these tasks included engineering problems that my manager told me required someone who would think "outside of the box" and this is the reason that management had come to the agreement to choose me as one of the first people to trial this type of work.
