  • Accountable for managing the wide portfolio of strategic business partners who Co-op has established a strategic distribution relationship with.
  • This includes accelerating growth from these partners within a structured governance framework.
  • Completely transformed how Partnerships are managed within the existing framework and delivered significant new revenue streams from existing partners in a very short timescale.

  • Delivering the strategic planning for new business development across each area of the business including the setup of 10 new strategic partnerships – implemented a new approach and strategy as to how Lyons Davidson managed and won new partnerships.
  • Delivered increased revenues from existing and new clients from the Insurance Sector – personally delivered 5 new significant clients, 10 new revenue streams from existing client.
  • These new contracts were worth between £1m-£7m per annum.
  • All marketing activity, social media and PR activity by Lyons Davidson – radically transformed how Lyons Davidson approaches and delivers all marketing activity across the whole firm.
  • Delivering a wider contribution across the business – Delivered strategic input across the entire business including HR, IT, Operations and Finance.

  • The accounts which were managed and won included Nationwide, Newcastle and West Brom Building Societies, Readers Digest, Royal London, Co-op and Dignity.
  • The largest account generated £15m profit p.a.
  • Delivered year on year growth of circa 20% for the 3-year period I was managing this team.
  • Delivered strategic plans for AXA to drive and accelerate growth and efficiencies through wider distribution of products and services.
  • Chosen to be on fast-track Future Leaders Program by the AXA Board.

  • This 1-year contract was a deliberate short term move as I was asked to manage a team of underperforming sales and marketing managers at Computershare, managing a wide range of accounts including Standard Life, Marks and Spencer and Bristol Water.
  • Reported into the Managing Director of Computershare.
  • Through focussed client management and an integrated marketing strategy, I transformed the demotivated team into a successful winning team which delivered 40% revenue growth and vastly improved client satisfaction survey scores.

  • Managed a team of sales and marketing mangers who were accountable for delivering new clients for Intermec, specifically in the retail sector.
  • Key wins included Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Boots, TK Maxx, Wilkinson’s and Thornton’s.
  • Total value of these deals across a 3-year period was in excess of £25m.

  • Through the phone rental business I launched the Orange brand in the USA.
  • Was responsible for all MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) contract negotiations with companies including Tesco, Mirror Group and Marks and Spencer.

  • Over a 7-year period I performed 2 key roles for British Airways based in Newcastle, London and Sweden.
  • Managed a team of 2 business development and marketing managers who were responsible for launching the British Airways credit card in different global regions.

  • Delivered new card schemes in the UK, Sweden, South Africa, USA and Switzerland.
  • The USA credit card alone generated £6m profit per month.
  • Based in Sweden, I headed up a 35 people call centre operation responsible for sales activity across Scandinavia.
  • I delivered a number of sales and marketing initiatives in his 18-month secondment including the purchase of a 3rd party company for £6m.
