
Having spent 17 years in the Army and later returned the working alongside the MOD as main stakeholder I am adaptable but very results driven.
I have also been involved in Mountain Rescue and Search And Rescue for over 15 years now. I am used to working with the Police and understand many of the carious roles within the Police.
As a senior trade stand fitter I was responsible for helping to brand events such as Crufts, Wimbledon Tennis, 6 Nations Rugby and other major national sporting events.
Part of my role was to ensure that the team had the correct amount of equipment and materials to safely complete the build, and that it was completed on time.
We built events across the UK, Eire and Europe.
I was initially hired as a Range warden responsible for maintaining the ranges and training ares used by the Army, RAF and Police.
Within 6 months i was promoted to Team Leader responsible for organizing the team of 6 wardens. My role included planning the rota that all safety critical roles were fulfilled on a daily basis, ensuring pre and post live firing safety checks were carried out. I was also responsible for ensuring the ranges had sufficient stock of targets and supplies for reactive and preventive maintenance.
I joined the Army (Royal Artillery) a junior leader in 1986 and after 12 months was posted to 50 Missile Regiment in Germany.
I was then promoted to Junior Non Commissioned Officer (Lance Bombadier) and completed several Operational Tours. I attended over 20 courses during my career and fulfilled roles such as Armour (responsible for issuing pistols/rifles and machine guns) and Storeman (dealing with clothing and equipment issues to set scales depending on the soldiers specific role.
