• My Psychology with counselling degree contained mock sessions which have developed my listening and communication skills.
• I am a former orchestra violinist of 6 years at Soar Valley Music Centre where I learned important lessons in teamwork. We played in Remembrance services, Christmas concerts and did busking in supermarkets to raise money for the music centre. I was part of an exchange program with the Amsterdam Youth Symphony Orchestra. I achieved a grade 5 in the violin, and a grade 5 in music theory. I was working towards a grade 6 exam before the Covid pandemic, but the exam was cancelled and I began playing grade 7 music.
• I have travelled to a number of European countries, including Iceland, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy. As my father is Danish, we have frequently stayed with Danish family and friends. My trip to Amsterdam with the orchestra included joining the AYSO for 2 concerts.
• I play team based strategy video games in my free time which frequently require knowing how to work well in a team with strangers, communicating effectively with people in different countries and knowing how to lead.
