Driving, General Maintenance of Edinburgh Leisure properties. Including but is not limited to, painting, general plumbing, general electrical, repairing and replacement of flooring, tiling, Over the years i have gained experience in most areas of general maintenance and there is not much that I cant or am not willing to turn my hand to. I work alongside qualified tradesmen and source and transport equipment and supplies required for jobs to be carried out. When outside tradesmen come I liaise and work with them as and when required. I ensure health and safety standards and regulations were met and adhered too at all times. I document records meticulously, aiding smooth operations management.

Responsibilities ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves, conducting security checks including operating alarm system and fire safety checks, assembly of furniture and equipment. I have previous experience in most areas of general maintenance and although I was not in this post very long due to its part time nature I very much enjoyed working within a small close knit team. activities included but not limited too

• Conducting safety checks regularly, ensuring compliance with regulations at all times.

I was responsible for the general maintenance of the building. This includes but is not limited to, painting, general plumbing, general electrical, repairing and replacement of flooring, tiling, Ice maintenance, refrigeration plant use and control, skate repair, skate sharpening, dealing with the general public, security of building and use of alarm system. Over the years i have gained experience in most areas of general maintenance and there is not much that I cant or am not willing to turn my hand to. I was also responsible for setting up the bar area for functions and meetings when required. When outside tradesmen came in I would liaise and work with them as and when required. Take receipt of deliveries ensuring them to be correct. Carry out weekly fire and water safety tests and ensured health and safety standards were met and adhered too.
