Joe Roberts

I am a sports journalist based in Croydon, London. I recently completed an MA in Journalism at Kingston University after my English MA at the University of Sussex. I have an incredible passion for sports, most specifically football, and have an eclectic range of knowledge on the subject. I am very passionate and in touch with modern football and am knowledgeable about domestic, international and European football as well as the relevant talking points and pressing issues in the sport. Through my vast experience as a young football writer, I have developed a firm grasp of what readers look for in content and have successfully produced work for a specific audience. My command of expression is excellent and my experience has allowed me to produce a wide range of different types of articles to a very high standard. I have also developed strong communication skills through frequent conversations with other sports writers, editors, former footballers and active pundits. My Masters degree also gave me a strong understanding of media law. I am very motivated, eager to develop my skills and keen to be a part of something exciting.
