Affiliations

  • My passion inside and outside school is music. Music is deeply embedded in my classroom practice and I enjoy playing my guitar and singing, to enrich children's learning experiences. I enjoy Pilates, dance and walking, which also help me to keep fit. Reading is another passion of mine and I am delighted to have more time for that since my retirement. Before moving house, I played an active part in our church community and volunteered as a care/family support worker at Demelza Children's Hospice and am looking forward to discovering new opportunities for volunteering in Suffolk. My biggest joy is helping to look after our beautiful grandson, who is now 6 years old. We all made the move to Suffolk together, so I feel truly blessed.
