Summary

I am a hardworking student who has now gained experience in both a retail, and a community based setting, and is eager to secure a permanent role in a workplace. My time as a volunteering youth worker allowed me to work on my transferable skills like leadership and team building, as well as giving me a sense of purpose as I was giving back to those apart of my community. This work was then implemented into my time as a seasonal retail assistant. Working during such a busy time of year taught me how to communicate quickly and effectively with customers, resolve any issues that arised, as well as adapt myself easily and quickly to ensure that all tasks were complete, to the best of their ability, all whilst working together as a team. These are just a small number of skills I have developed during my time as a retail assistant, skills that I am eager to bring into any workplace, as well as gaining new ones.
