- Aspect of self employment fortifies my time management and as it requires me to choose my hours and it is completely up to me to ensure customers receive their orders within an acceptable time limit
- Having to frequently interact with customers or restaurant workers allows me to consistently improve Improves my professionalism when communication with customers or employees of a restaurant
- This has also given me the benefit of being able to problem solve and think of the job when there are any complications in between deliveries
Church Volunteer
1 Year 9 Months- Volunteered at the Sunday school group for my local church from October 2022 to July 2024, helping to supervise children aged 8-12 and assisting the leader with specific activities and play times after learning sessions.
Library assistant
3 Months- Volunteered at local library, July-October 2023, assisting in children's section by guiding children to books and authors while organising materials from classes. Shelved returned books in correct places and assisted customers in locating specific genres or authors. Gained insight into work environment and enhanced conversational skills through direct customer interaction.
EY Work Experience
- This included 3 days online at home and 2 in the office where I had various meetings with members from different teams at EY like Consulting, Marketing , Sustainability and Financial services.
- Given an informative insight regarding what each member of each team does for their job and what their day to day was like but also their pathways to get to their current role
- Given advice about my future pathways and how i should approach sixth form, post-18 and then my future job.
