Havant Thicket Reservoir

I've work on the Havant Thicket Reservoir during the tendering stage and was responsible for pricing:

  • Concrete Culvert (water intake structure through reservoir embankment with valve tower).
  • Control building

More recently I have work with the project team of Havant Thicket Reservoir to update prices & Programme the elements of the reservoir that changed due to improved design or unknown ground conditions. These include:

  • Destratification system
  • Water Quality Instrumentation
  • Geo-monitoring and ducting
  • Inlet pipe and cross connection chambers
  • Culvert Seepage pumping station
  • Site drainage plan & Cess Pit
  • Additional Environment Agency monitoring of flow and Water Quality
  • Split of emergency discharge flow
  • Ventilation system for culvert and valve tower
  • A new 1500lm above ground pipeline (DN1000) over the reservoir embankment to borrow pits


Portsmouth Naval Base

The Naval base has strict security constraint on divulging details of project location. I can broadly state that the projects involved:
