I am an Associate Project Manager for Arcadis, bringing over 35 years of experience across the public and private sectors in the Southwest of England.

I have successfully led multi-professional teams of portfolio, programme, and project managers, as well as commercial managers and principal designers. Responsibilities have included setting strategic direction, overseeing project activities and expenditure, driving governance and compliance, and providing executive leadership. I have a proven track record in ensuring the successful commercial delivery of complex, high-value residential, educational, and commercial projects.

With a background in structural and civil engineering design, I bring a strong technical foundation to the coordination and management of multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring the successful delivery of client objectives and expectations. Leveraging extensive programme and project management experience, I am strategically aware, commercially astute, and skilled in navigating complex challenges. I have a proven track record in recovering and turning around distressed projects, managing change, and delivering results in difficult circumstances with resilience and resourcefulness.

As Portfolio Lead, I oversee the management and governance of education programmes and projects, providing high-level reporting to senior leadership and supporting decision-making to deliver statutory education facilities. As Programme Director, I ensure strategic alignment, delivery, and governance of multiple projects to achieve SEND objectives. Additionally, as Project Director, I focus on the execution and delivery of individual projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timelines.

As Programme Director of a £257m complex infrastructure programmes in Southwest England. I am responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the programme development, developing emerging delivery strategies to  accelerate delivery through timely provision of critical infrastructure, including transport, utilities, and community facilities. Skilled in adapting strategies to evolving development trajectories, ensuring robust, evidence-based solutions for sustainable growth.
