These roles were/are:
- Anti-Social behaviour admin assistant for one year.
- Decant Officer for three months.
- Complex Repairs Officer for one year (Current Position).
I have carried out the following:
- Prepared case bundles
- Used software "Dynamics" to search for tenancies, tenants or cases.
- Attended court to assist my manager with difficult cases relating to possession.
- Served notices to quit in person.
- Served Injunctions.
- Made calls to the court on behalf of Newlon.
- Raised purchase orders.
- Assisted tenants with decanting them temporarily and permanently
- Carried out home visits with tenants.
- Assisted the lettings, income and repairs team with inquiries.
- Handled large caseload of over 300 cases.
- Was the first and only person in my team to deal with Awaab's law cases for the first three months.
- Have been sticking to strict legal deadlines surrounding damp and mould cases.
- Gave Newlon input on how to improve the process of handling damp and mould cases.
- I instruct surveyors to attend to investigate issues and raise the necessary works with contractors.
- Ensure adjustments are in place for those with vulnerabilities to ensure repairs can be completed.
- Keep residents updated, answer any questions or concerns they may have and book post inspections where necessary.
- Trained new members of staff on Awaab's law and how to deal with cases where we struggle for access.
