Summary

Motivated by having an autistic child and having attended a multitude of training and information sessions. I have gathered a wealth of knowledge on how to understand and support individuals who have autism and learning disabilities. I did this to firstly better understand and support my son but now feel it is something I would like to explore in a work capacity. I am currently studying a degree in Heath and Social care through the Open University. I do voluntary work with PALS and Play Peace and I am committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism and learning disabilities. I'm compassionate and dedicated individual with a natural ability to communicate empathetically and work collaboratively, demonstrating strong interpersonal and organisational skills. I'm eager to make meaningful difference in a support worker role.
