I began work at Haines Watts as a PA to the two partners who ran the Tax Compliance Unit. On the departure of one of the partners during Covid the role became more of nuanced and involved PA duties along with Administration duties and some Tax Investigation work. I was responsible for;

  • Coordinated flights, accommodation and other travel arrangements to Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Cyprus and Malta and arranged meetings and diaries for the duration of the trip.
  • Arrange meetings with clients, including restaurant bookings if necessary.
  • Used a dedicated computer programme (Altia) to analyse Bank statements and convert into an excel spreadsheet in order for analysis work to take place.
  • Responsibility for transforming the Invoice and Statement system from paper into digital format and liaising with clients regarding the change.
  • Creating and organising Invoices and Statements for Partner approval and then communicating to clients.
  • Responsible for collecting of debts and liaising with others when required.
  • Responsibility for managing office and systems used.
  • Coordinated and secured meetings for management teams, distributing relevant resources ahead of time.
