• i joined tfl in feb 92 as a station assistant, after 3 months i became a guard, then in april 93 i became a revenue inspector then in may 96 i became a driver at acton town on the piccadilly line and stayed there until may of this year when i retired from tfl. we moved to devon in june of 2014 so ofter 34 years af an incredibly satisfying career. the travelling and being away from home finally caused me to call it a day.
