As a field-based coordinator, I am responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of telecom infrastructure work across assigned areas. Liaising with engineers, contractors and internal teams to coordinate jobs, resolve on-site issues and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and to company standards. Monitoring progress in the field, managing resources, and maintaining clear communication between operational and office teams to keep projects running efficiently. Taking lead engagement with landowners and stakeholders to secure wayleave agreements, enabling the installation of telecom infrastructure to support network expansion.

As a fibre engineer for Openreach, I installed, maintained, and repaired fibre-optic broadband connections for homes and businesses. My role included diagnosing network faults, performing underground and overhead cabling work, and ensuring fibre infrastructure was built to high technical and safety standards. Working closely alongside customers, contractors, and operational teams, I was able to deliver reliable, high-speed connectivity across the network.
