I worked for Siemens as a contractor for a number of years spread over a number of signalling upgrade projects such as: Thameslink, Angerstein, Hither Green, Kings Cross, Brighton Mainline, Victoria Phase 3.
During this time I worked under a number of different people in multiple depots, I had to adapt to each persons way of working whilst always upkeeping my own personal standards at all times.
I started at Siemens as a Trainee installer, gained my IRSE Installation Operative license and towards the end of my time there I began to be an acting Team Leader.
I worked for Bridgeway Consulting as a COSS/Possession support staff for just over 2 years in which time I gained my COSS ticket and become the youngest COSS within the company.
This job was strapping out, blocking, isolations, reading diagrams etc all on the Thameslink project.
I began my railway career at the age of 18, starting out as an assistant before working my way up to a strapman.
