Volunteering at The Premier League Primary Stars tournament and assisting Arsenal at the Hale End Cup gave me insight into professional environments and talent identification. Working at Media 10 taught me digital literacy by making web pages and updating websites. EA Sports showed me insights to game engines and the commercial and innovation side of football. Reading at the Kings Cross Library to primary school children taught me patience and understanding whilst amplifying my creativity skills, communication and ability to support children individually. Playing for an U18s club as a goalkeeper sharpens my match analysis and leadership.These experiences have built collaboration, organisation and attention to detail, fuelling my passion for coaching and preparing me for this course and my future career.
My passion for football drives my ambition to coach. Experience has shown me the impact a positive role model can have. Personally I know how the right coach can transform a child’s journey.

I really enjoy my own 1:1 coaching sessions and these experiences shaped my determination and drive, leading me to start my own 121 coaching. Running sessions for children aged 8–16 has strengthened my planning, adaptability, and leadership skills. One proud moment was helping a13-year-old progress from low confidence to being scouted by Chelsea’s pre-academy through tailored training plans and commitment. I am resilient, driven and passionate about football, I enjoyed most GCSE subjects, but sports studies, biology and media stood out These enhanced my interest in coaching by giving me insight into science, practical skills, leadership, and communication I continued this path by studying an NCFE in Coaching at Arsenal FC During my time there, I have refined my coaching style gaining experience with children in various roles, boosting confidence and social skills My FA Level 1 introduced me to session design, facilitation and adapting sessions for different ages/abilities, as well as communication with parents and feedback skills I’ve enrolled on the UEFA C Licence to progress further The EE Playmaker Award improved my ability to motivate players, build team cohesion, and use positive reinforcement Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications show my awareness of responsibility and ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally These experiences have strengthened my coaching values and prepared me to support athletes’ development while promoting confidence and inclusivity
