I am resilient, driven and passionate about football, I enjoyed most GCSE subjects, but sports studies, biology and media stood out These enhanced my interest in coaching by giving me insight into science, practical skills, leadership, and communication I continued this path by studying an NCFE in Coaching at Arsenal FC During my time there, I have refined my coaching style gaining experience with children in various roles, boosting confidence and social skills My FA Level 1 introduced me to session design, facilitation and adapting sessions for different ages/abilities, as well as communication with parents and feedback skills I’ve enrolled on the UEFA C Licence to progress further The EE Playmaker Award improved my ability to motivate players, build team cohesion, and use positive reinforcement Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications show my awareness of responsibility and ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally These experiences have strengthened my coaching values and prepared me to support athletes’ development while promoting confidence and inclusivity
